Bill Rives, and his wife Janey, have lived in the Highland Lakes area for over 40 years. Bill was with MFISD as a campus administrator for 21 years. Bill Rives, and his wife Janey, have lived in the Highland Lakes area for over 40 years. Bill was with MFISD as a campus administrator for 21 years. He has also worked for Fall Creek Vineyards since 1990 as part of their marketing team. Bill's interest in music led to his association with the Horseshoe Bay Cultural Enrichment Society, first as an advisor to the Program Committee, and later as a Board member. He is currently serving as President of the HSBCES, Inc. Bill and the Board work to bring a variety of experiences - both entertaining and educational - to the residents of Horseshoe Bay and the surrounding area. Mike, a DePauw University graduate, has a law degree from the University of Michigan and practiced with Faegre, Biddle Drinker& Reath for 42 years. The final years of his career were spent in opening the Firm’s China offices. He was active in the not for profit world, serving as Board Member and Chair of the Ind

Mike, a DePauw University graduate, has a law degree from the University of Michigan and practiced with Faegre, Biddle Drinker& Reath for 42 years. The final years of his career were spent in opening the Firm’s China offices. He was active in the not for profit world, serving as Board Member and Chair of the Indianapolis Bar Association, Indiana Repertory Theatre, the Mental Health Association in Indiana, the Barrier Island Parks Society in Boca Grande and as a Trustee of DePauw University. Mike moved to Horseshoe Bay in 2004 and then into Austin in 2021. In Horseshoe Bay, Mike was a two term President of the HSB/POA . Mike has sung with many different groups and has considered music and drama as his lifelong avocations.

With a Masters degree in Science and after a career in academia, and working for the Federal government, Mike and Deborah moved to the Marble Falls community in 1981. He began his Real Estate Career under Wayne Hurd as Broker and manager for HSB Corp. In 2000 he became the Broker and Director of Real Estate operations for

With a Masters degree in Science and after a career in academia, and working for the Federal government, Mike and Deborah moved to the Marble Falls community in 1981. He began his Real Estate Career under Wayne Hurd as Broker and manager for HSB Corp. In 2000 he became the Broker and Director of Real Estate operations for HSB Resort and semi-retired just this past year. Mike's wife Deborah taught for the Marble Falls school system for over 32 years. Mike in addition to staying current with the Real Estate market, studies music, plays a little golf and spends time with friends and grandchildren, Watching the evolution of HSB Resort and the surrounding area grow is something he always had faith in.

They love fishing, hunting, and boating. Sandy has a great appreciation for the arts. She has been active in the community as well as volunteering for many charitable organizations.

Forty seasons with G&S opera in Houston with two awards from the International Festival in Buxton ,England as the Festival’s Outstanding Music Director 1995 and 1998. Two Grammy nominations for jazz CDs he conducted and produced - and one personal Grammy nomination as Producer of the Year in 2010. Conductor for theatrical shows at 5th Ave theatre Seattle, Milwaukee Skylight Theatre and the Cleveland Opera, and a Conducting Credit for a movie score. Robert (Bob) was also Dean of Fine Arts at Houston Baptist University as well.

Music & Performing Arts Advisor As a young man, Tom developed a love for music that eventually helped him pay for his college education by playing trombone with a number of popular groups. He continued to play professionally until the demands of his profession took a higher priority. He has held a number of executive positions with major multinational corporations during his working career.
Since retiring, he has renewed his musical interests both by playing his horn and working with a number of music and arts oriented non-profit organizations. He has been able to contribute his experience in organization and business acumen to help organizations achieve both their interests in supporting the arts and achieving financial stability. Tom and his wife, Barbara reside at Barton Creek Lakeside in Spicewood, Texas.
